ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Ward has worked in real estate development, property management and hotel/resort development for well over 25 years. From top tier hospitality brands and many family owned operations across North America, Ward's background in Hospitality Real Estate covers a wide spectrum of industry experiences and knowledge.
Born in Vancouver, B.C., Canada in 1962, Ward moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in the early 1990’s as a part of a successful Immigrant Investment Fund Management Company based in Hong Kong, Calgary, AB, and Regina, SK, Canada. He now splits his time between Kelowna, B.C., Canada, and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Since 2001, Ward has mainly focused on buying, selling and developing recreational and resort properties across North America. During his career, Ward has collaborated on many large scale master planned community developments in Canada and the United States, and multiple Hotel and Condominium projects totalling more than 2,500 doors and over $500 million in development activity. Ward is best known for creating distinctive properties that leave lasting impressions.
He continually assembles talented teams in all disciplines of real estate development and pushes them and his partners to generate "out of the box" experiences that are designed to exceed expectations. Inspired by a fusion of Asian influences, Ward constantly strives to instill deep emotions and memories in the places and spaces he develops. His associates describe him as tireless, tenacious, pragmatic and creative. Colleagues and partners alike appreciate him for his "can do" attitude, as well as his unquestionable integrity, and balanced sensibility in all areas of design and development.
Presently, Ward is working on several significant Wellness Resort and Village developments in Mexico and Western Canada totalling approximately 2,000 acres, over 20,000 residential and hospitality units, with approximately $500 million USD in near term development activity. He has spent the last nine years creating a world class team of global experts in Wellness Tourism, Hospitality, and Real Estate Development that is unrivalled in the industry.
